Gardens by the Bay is just one of those places where you go because it’s just a really good idea to. It also helps that they have events happening year-round so here’s a mini-guide to keep you in the loop!
Designed to whisk you away to the charming Dutch countryside, Tulipmania brings you a picturesque, pastoral display of blooming tulips from all the colours of the spectrum completed with windmills, little running waterfalls and chicken and cow sculptures living within the tulip fields
Tulipmania is also educational, allowing you to learn more about tulips and their life cycles along the way. If that doesn’t sound inviting enough, you also stand a chance to win a trip for two to Amsterdam with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines if you customise a digital Delft Blue Tile at the KLM x Gardens by the Bay Digital Wall at the Flower Dome. Have it uploaded to Instagram with the hashtags #gardensbythebay #gbtulipmania #klm and describe why you love Tulipmania to stand a chance to win! Of course, remember to tag the appropriate organizers, @gardensbythebay and @klm on Instagram.
2) Floral Fantasy
Get ready for a wholesome experience combining technology and creativity at Floral Fantasy! Transporting you to an extravagant dreamland, Floral Fantasy is Gardens by the Bay’s latest thematic attraction with four different, diverse garden landscapes and a super fun 4D ride!
The four concepts of the landscapes include:
A whimsical wonderland of flowering plants suspended from the ceiling, swaying in a mesmerizing motion as if they are really dancing.
A glistening stream that meanders through evergreen, grassy knolls.
A forest with a rain oasis and flowers falling down among flowing rocks and winding driftwood. A scenic landscape depicting the fragility and wonder of the world’s biodiversity. Poison dart frogs are also on display here. They might be small, but you can hardly miss them because of their bright colours.
A cave-like space with terraced rock formations. Semi-enclosed and glowing with soft, warm lighting, it will surely bring a sense of enchantment and relaxation.
Fantasy Theatre – ‘Flight of the Dragonfly’ 4D Ride
